Bob Marley’s youngest son is growing weed in an abandoned prison because he doesn’t believe in using prisons to take freedom from people who grow. Damian Marley’s latest music video showcased a prison turned pot farm.

Damian’s brother, Stephen Marley, made an appearance with lyrics stating a need for change. The music video gave us a preview of cells turned into an indoor cannabis farm.

Bob Marley’s youngest son Damian partnered with Ocean Grown Extracts to purchase the Claremont Custody Center in the City of Coalinga. The facility was shut down in 2011 and sold in 2016. The town got $4.1 million for the sale which helped to alleviate their $3.3 million debt.

Jimmy Fallon is the true embodiment of the American dream. Born in Bay Ridge Brooklyn, Fallon originally majored in computer science and communications at The College of Saint Rose. With only one semester left until graduation, Fallon decided to drop out of college and pursue his dream of being a comedian.

He moved to L.A. and decided to pursue comedy full time. He performed stand-up comedy at The Improv in L.A. and started taking improvisational classes at the Groundlings.

It was always Fallon’s dream to join the cast of Saturday Night Live but was originally rejected on his first audition. However, Fallon was able to impress SNL creator Lorne Michaels enough on his second go-around to secure a spot on the show. Fallon was on the show from 1998-2004 and was infamous for breaking character with his signature fit of laughs.

Does Jimmy Fallon smoke weed? Fallon has made a ton of pot jokes on his time as the “Tonight Show” host and has even taken a shotgun from Willie Nelson himself. The two seem like an ideal fit, but there’s not much evidence to suggest Fallon is a big time stoner.

In fact, Fallon has said he doesn’t really smoke, although he has tried it:

“I’ve tried it, but I’m not a pot guy. I just can’t get into it. Smoking cigarettes, I can’t do that either. It just doesn’t fit with me.”

It’s tough to imagine Fallon not smoking because he seemingly is obsessed with some of his guest’s weed habits. He’s plagued guys like Snoop Dogg, Seth MacFarlane, and Seth Rogen with tons of weed questions in past episodes of his show. Perhaps he’s just into the mystic nature of the plant.

“Why not allow everyone to benefit from it?”

Now, many movie buffs will probably know him for playing Fox Mulder in “The X-Files,” but his hardcore fans will have love him for playing Hank Moody, the always “out of this world” character in “Californication.” He’s of course, David Duchovny and yes, in real-life too, he’s all for the herb.

“I’m all for legalization. I think people are going to smoke pot anyway, and the idea that people are in jail for smoking pot and dealing pot is reprehensible to me personally,” Duchovny said. “I think you could make a lot of money as a government by treating them like cigarettes and getting your taxes off of them and building roads and taking care of the people that need to be taken care of. I think it’s a great idea. I don’t think it would lead to any more use. Everybody I know, if they want to, has smoked pot. The fact that it’s illegal doesn’t stop anybody I know, so why not allow everybody to benefit from it? It would be billions of dollars of tax revenue.”

“How do you feel about recreational marijuana?”

And here’s what he had to say:

“Well that’s a large question, isn’t it? Because you’re talking about recreation, which everyone is in favor of. You are also talking about something that has been illegal for so many years, and marijuana is responsible for such a large part of the prison population, for the crime of self-medication. And it takes millions and billions of dollars by incarcerating people for this crime against oneself as best can be determined.

“People are realizing that the war on drugs is a failure, that the amount of money spent, you could have bought all the drugs with that much money rather than create this army of people and incarcerated people.

“I think the terror of marijuana was probably overstated. I don’t think people are really concerned about it the way they once were. Now that we have crack and crystal and whatnot, people don’t even think about marijuana anymore, it’s like someone watching too many video games in comparison.

“The fact that states are passing laws allowing it means that its threat has been over-exaggerated. Psychologists recommend smoking marijuana rather than drinking if you are in a stressful situation. These are ancient remedies, alcohol and smoking, and they only started passing laws against them 100 years ago.”
